If you haven’t heard about LOVE THE TRI, let me fill you in on a local group that gives back to the community just by loving the area we live in. LOVE THE TRI is the brainchild of Mike Denslow, a local resident who decided to share his love for the Tri-Cities by showing it off and giving back. 100% of the profits from sales of t-shirts, sweatshirts, tank tops, jackets, stickers, and hats go to local charities such as Domestic Violence Services of Benton and Franklin Counties, Boys and Girls Club of Benton and Franklin Counties, Tri-Cities Cancer Center and Service Peace Warriors.
“Love The Tri” is intended to celebrate all that is Tri-Cities, Washington. We live in an amazing community, but it feels like we have identity issues. The Tri is made up of 3 or 4 cities, maybe more, depending on who you’re talking to, spread over Benton & Franklin counties in Southeastern Washington. There is so much pride within the individual cities of Pasco, Kennewick & Richland, and more recently West Richland, that the sum greatness goes largely unrecognized.
Individually all of the cities within the Tri have a population under 100,000, but together we are a community of over 250,000. “Alone we can do so little. Together we can do so much.” -Helen Keller
The hope is that we can all promote & Love The Tri!!!
